Abstract
Contact sheet containing twenty-eight images shows the Olympia Brass Band escorting the Jolly Bunch Social & Pleasure Club to the Old Zion Baptist Church loacted between Johnson and St. Louis Street for a cornerstone laying. Images feature the Band among a crowd of African American children and adults who are holding umbrellas as well as one person who is holding the American flag. Some images show portions of the Old Zion Church building as well as houses in the area. Paul Crawford on the left, and Lester Caliste, on the right, are identified in Frame 29. George "Kid Sheik" Colar, Andy Anderson, Clive Wilson are identified in Frame 30. Nowell Glass, on the left, and Andrew Jefferson on the right are identified in Frame 36A.

The Louisiana Digital Library (LDL) is the front door to Louisiana's digital cultural heritage. Members include public libraries, academic libraries, museums, and archives from arcross the state.

Currently, there are 25 participating institutions in the LDL. Each institution contributes the digital items and the descriptive text for their collections.
