Abstract
Text, November 11, 1840. Appreciative letter printed in the Daily Picayune concerning two large sweet potatoes given to unknown persons from the officers of the steamboat Lady of Lyons. They were raised on the plantation of Captain Michael Zenor in Concordia Parish and weighed eleven pounds and eight ounces.
