Text, January 22, 1922. Article entitled: Plans made for 2,000 guests at Sullivan-Salmen marriage. Ceremony uniting Bogalusa lumber king and daughter of prominent Louisiana family to be preformed on lawn of bride's family home. Announcement of Miss Ellarose Salmen of Slidell and William H. Sullivan of Bogalusa marriage and elaborate wedding in Slidell, Louisiana. A special train is chartered from New Orleans to Slidell to accomodate the over 2,000 guests expected. A brief history of the Sullivan lumber mill is included as well.
