Registered nurses of 13 Southern, and Southwestern states are eligible to apply for scholarships worth $1600 for a year's study in the Louisiana State university school of medicine, according to 'announcement by the department of nursing education of the medical school.
The scholarship, available for the 1949-50 session, will be granted by the mental hygiene division of the federal security agency to graduate registered nurses with experience in psychiatric nursing who want to prepare for clinical practitioner, teaching, and supervisory positions.
