Still a mystery to the medical profession is an unknown southern fungus which produces hay fever allergy.
Nature of this "X" substance still baffles doctors, and not until they discover what it is can they treat it, according to Dr. Leo H. Criep, assistant professor of medicine at the University of Pittsburgh's School of Medicine.

Dr. Criep is one of the eight prominent American allergists who, together with local specialists, is lecturing in the five-day course in clinical allergy which opened yesterday in the Roosevelt Hotel, under the sponsorship of the LSU School of Medicine.
