Graduation ceremonies were held Friday morning at Foundation hospital school of medical technology for seven students.
Awarded diplomas were Missi Joanne Candilora? Miss Terry Kelly, Mrs. Sidney Stark Martin and Miss Mary Elaine Miller, all of New Orleans; Miss Joy Faye Owens, Harrisonburg, La.; Miss Anita F. Pence, Baton Rouge, and Miss Mary Louise Wall, Mobile, Ala.
Dr, Guillermo M. Carrera, head of the hospital's ^department of pathology, presented the diplomas. Principal speaker | was Sister Mary Elizabeth, O.i P., professor of chemistry at St. Mary's Dominican college,
Miss Joan Avrard, teaching supervisor of the school, and Dr. Myrton F. Beeler, director, also participated in the ceremonies.
Trainees at the school are fourth year students working toward a bachelor of science degree in medical technology. The school was begun in June, 1958, and four students were "gradu-ated from the first class.
