A meeting to form a Jefferson parish heart council will be held at 3:30 p. m. Thursday, Oct. 8, in the board room of the Metairie Savings Bank branch, 3639 Jefferson hwy.
Dr. Homer J. Dupuy, president of the Louisiana Heart Association, said interested physicians and lay persons in the parish are invited to the meeting.
Physicians now assisting in
organizing the new group include Dr. H. S. Mayerson, chairman of the department of physiology, Tulane university school of medicine, and Dr. Charles1 B. Moore, Gchsner clinic, Mrs. Joseph E. Schenthal, member of the board of the state heart association, is chairman of the organizational committee.
