Eleven full-time and 15 part-time faculty members of the Louisiana State university school of medicine have been promoted and their appointments approved by the board of supervisors, Dr. William W. Frye, dean, announced Wednesday.
.Named professors were Dr.
Harry E. Dascomb, medicine; Dr. Isidore Cohn Jr., surgery; and Dr. Bichard M. Paddisori, psychiatry and neurology.
Promoted from assistant to associate- professor were Dr. Walter J. Hollis, medicine; Dr. Tag E. Mansour, pharmacology; Dr. Marilyn Zimny, anatomy; and Dr. Joseph H. Miller, microbiology.
Assistant professorships went to the following instructors: Dr.
John B. Bobear, medicine; Dr. Mignon W. Jumel, medicine; Dr. Francis Puyau, pediatrics; and Lucie C. M, Schultz, nursing.
Part-time faculty members receiving promotions were:
To clinical professor—Dr. Oscar Blitz, medicine; Dr. Irvin Cahen, orthopedics; Dr. Manuel Gard-berg, medicine; and Dr. Gordon McHardy, medicine.
To clinical associate professor—
Dr. David F. Bradley, dermatology, and Dr. Irving Redler, orthopedics.
