The new West Bank health center of the Jefferson parish health unit was formally dedicated Tuesday afternoon with ceremonies in Harvey.
The new building at Eighth and Olive sts. occupies about 8400 square feet and contains 31 rooms, including clinical and examining rooms, X-ray and dental facilities, laboratories, auditorium and library.
Also included are offices for the director and his assistant, sanitation, nursing, venereal disease investigation, vital statistics, nutrition, milk supervision, public health education and clerical sections of the health unit. PHOTO:PARTICIPATING IN THE RIBBON CUTTING Tuesday in
