Dr. Ambrose H. Storck was named president of the Orleans parish unit of the American Cancer Society, Inc., Wednesday at a meeting of the new board of directors.
He succeeds Maurice J. Stouse. Other officers named were Dr. E. Perry Thomas, vice-president; Mrs. Lucius M. Lamar, secretary; Charles Schwartz Jr., re-elected treasurer, and Mrs. Louis B. Oav-erie, re-elected director of volunteers.
New board members elected were Dr. Walton R. Akenhead, Dr. William R. Arrowsmith, George W. Healy Jr., Dr. Russell L. Holman, Mrs. Joseph W. Hughes, Dr. Edgar Hull and Dr. Joseph V. Schlos-ser.
