New Orleans is host this week end to two medical meetings.
The American College of Physicians will hold a mid-south regional session tomorrow and Saturday.
The Louisiana chapter of the American College of Surgeons will convene Saturday.
Dr. Thomas P. Findley, Jr., professor of clinical medicine at Tulane Medical School, is governor of the College of Physicians for Louisiana. He will direct his group's session.
Dr. Howard Mahorner, associate professor at LSU medical school, is president of the Louisiana chapter of the College of Surgeons. Dr. Alton Ochsner is president of the national college.
Clinical presentations in Charity Hospital will feature the physicians' meetings Friday and Saturday mornings. Staff members of the Tulane and LSU medical schools and Ochsner Clinic will take part. Afternoon meetings will be marked by reading of formal papers and a panel discussion of new drugs. Dr. Edward D; Matthews, assistant professor of clinical medicine at Tulane, is chairman of the program committee.
