Biographical Information
Kenneth Turnbull (1923-1998) and Dudley Gregory Turnbull (1925-1980) were the sons of Dudley Turnbull, Jr. and Juanita Hebert Turnbull, descendants of free people of color of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. They had five brothers and sisters: Naomi (born about 1911), who worked as a maid; Grace (born about 1913), a high school graduate of McKinley Senior High School; Ralph Bruce Turnbull (1924-1990), who worked as a plasterer; Juanita (born 1928); and Maudie (born 1930).</br></br>Kenneth was a member of the 1941 class of McKinley Senior High School, served in World War II, and worked as a painter. He died in New Orleans in 1998.</br></br>Dudley ""Dud"" Gregory Dudley served in World War II and attended St. Francis Xavier School. He died in Los Angeles, Ca. in 1980.

Description
Kenneth Turnbull's autograph book created during his senior year at McKinley High School. The book includes messages written by Dudley Turnbull Jr. and Juanita Hebert Turnbull to their son, as well as notes and poems from Bruce Turnbull and friends. The autograph book seems to have been shared with Kenneth's younger brother, Dudley Gregory Turnbull.
