Overall good condition, with oxidation present throughout the object.

Description
Mold composed of two cast iron discs soldered to wrought iron pincers. The pincers are joined with a wrought bolt and extend out to long handles. The end of one handle is bent back to create an eye ring on which a hook is attached to slip over, and secure, the other handle. The cast stamps are each the same with a recessed eagle below clouds and sixteen stars. The Great Seal of the United States includes the phrase "E pluribus unum." The two discs are oriented at 180 degrees from one another.
