Overall good condition. The ribbons are replaced. Large compression crack on the base

Description
Walnut butler's tray consisting of four rails dovetailed together with an S curve cutout of the top at one side. The front rail is shorter. There are four kidney-shaped handle cut outs, one on each rail. The base is a single board that has been screwed onto the four rails. The screws have been replaced and the old screw holes filled. The base folds and is two frames each consisting of two stiles with a top rail either doweled and glued or mortised and tenoned into the top of the stiles and stretcher rails mortised and tenoned between the stiles. The two frames are secured together with screws, one side has what appears to be the original screw with a hand-hammered head, the other side has a cut, replacement screw. The tension between the two at the top is a modern ribbon that is tacked in to the two sides. There are holes from many replacements.
