The base is stamped incuse with "HARLAND" in all capital letters with serifs inside of a rectangle. The likely maker, Henry Harland, is known to have occasionally used his father's stamp (the one appearing on this piece).
Condition
Overall good condition. Very few signs of use.

Description
- Silver teapot with a round, stepped foot, lobed body with a high shoulder, and a hinged lid with four molded leaves on the top surrounding the flower basket finial. Die-rolled milled border with foliate pattern applied around the foot, low collar below the body, flared at the shoulder, and at the lid. Cast spout with floral decoration around the bend and a hand holding a shell at the spout. Cast foliate handle with ivory spacers. Part of a five-piece set.
