Marks/Inscription/Labels
"FROM /(in arched format) BARRY & KRICKBAUM" stamped in black ink on top of pedestal (under marble). Scribed lines across top of pedestal, possibly triangulate position of dowels.
Accessories/Hardware
Brass casters and feet. Iron screws, appear to be hand wrought.
Condition
Overall fair condition. Some losses and cracking to veneer; water damage to feet. Evidence of worm damage to pedestal.

Description
Slab-top center pedestal table on octagonal base with four flat, projecting feet, all veneered with mahogany. Drum top made up of four circular layers of pine glued with mahogany veneer and quarter-round molding around perimeter. Top supported by four poplar planks reinforced by triangular glue blocks in corners doweled into top of pedestal underneath, and a single dowel in center. Planks tenon into skirt, faced with mahogany underneath. Single octagonal column wide at top and bottom, narrows in center with small applied waist molding. Column has ogee molding around base set on octagonal plinth with four projecting bracket feet that are flat and rectangular in section with semicircular ends and small notches in corners. Flat, circular moldings of burl walnut applied to tops of semicircular ends. Bracket feet likely tenon or dowel into faces of base. Ends of bracket feet supported by hollow, compressed spun brass ball feet with brass collar above, all concealing brass casters.
