Marks/Inscription/Labels
Remnants of label on underside of central plank that supports table top. Loss and abrasion make it completely illegible.

Brass casters. Iron slotted screws.

Description
Center table with faceted hexagonal central shaft of urn above and elongated pendant to which are tenoned three large veneered S-scroll feet, all supporting drum top with Egyptian marble surface. Feet are veneered on all sides and have shallow disk of veneer to cap top and bottom central iron rod continuous through pedestal and large plank of ring porous hardwood (possibly chestnut) on which rests the marble table top. Table top is built up from three layers of circular pieces of pine to create substrate for mahogany veneer. Central plank screws into underside of skirt. Marble top has two large battens of same material adhered with mortar to underside for additional support.
