Original iron locks on upper and lower doors. Originally hinged on interior of doors, all replaced and patched in kind.

Once painted; still painted green on interior of cupboard.

Description
Triangular cupboard divided into two sections by a low waist molding pinned to case. Upper section is two thirds height of lower section. Molded cornice projects very slightly from top, and nailed. Overall stance is wide. Doors of fielded panels beveled on interior sides laid into groove in frames. Quarter-round molding strip overlays interior perimeter of door fronts. Two pins through tenons of door framing on both sides. Shelves are pinned to exterior of case. All case rails are tenoned into stiles; stiles are butt jointed to side boards and pinned. Stiles are not continuous from upper and lower section of case. Back of cupboard single boards grain laid vertically continuous from top to bottom of case, possibly tongue and groove joint. Back of side boards canted slightly.
