The center "MEDAILLE D'HONNERUR A PLEYEL & CIE/ MASSONNET EDITION". Label reads in the center MEDAILLE D'HONNERUR/ EXP.on Universelle/ de 1855". Across the center, "IGNACE PLEYEL & COMPIE./ PARIS." On the left, " Medailles d'Or/ EN/ 1827.54.59.44". On the right "Hors de Concours/ EN/ 1849".

Description
Mahogany upright player piano with heavily carved S- scroll front supports with foliate decoration. The exterior of the piece is rosewood-veneered. The piano includes two metal pedals and multiple paper labels, and keys, some of which are likely made of ivory.
